A selection of images first from Northern Iraq, from Mosul, Nimrud and Nineveh, as well as from Samarra taken on a private trip from Germany to Afghanistan in 1970, performed with a VW Beetle that is occasionally seen on the slides, as e.g. in front of the monastery of Mar Behnam.
