Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is by far the largest country on the Arabian Peninsula and has fascinating World Heritage sites such as Mada'in Saleh/ Hegra. In recent years, it has invested heavily in major cultural projects such as the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture - ITHRA - in Dahran.

In the southwest of the peninsula lie the two holy sites of Mecca and Medina, as well as the port city of Jeddah, which has been the gateway for trade and pilgrims for centuries.
